1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:

2. Website hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This marketing website (webermap.de) is hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) and delivered via Cloudflare's global edge network. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource) to provide the site securely and performantly. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, fast website).

A transfer to the USA takes place. It is safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) concluded with Cloudflare and additional protective measures. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with Cloudflare.

3. Fonts

We use exclusively self-hosted fonts (Inter, Fraunces). No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts or other third parties — visiting the site establishes no connection to third-party font servers.

4. Cookies & tracking

The marketing website sets no consent-requiring cookies and uses no tracking or analytics tools. Local storage is used only for pure UI functions during active use (e.g. menu state) and contains no personal data. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

5. Newsletter (double opt-in)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address, the chosen language, a hash of your IP address and the time of subscription. Subscription uses the double opt-in procedure: you receive a confirmation email and the subscription only becomes active after you click the confirmation link. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. The email provider is Lettermint; a DPA is in place.

6. Lead magnet / template download

To download free templates we process your email address in order to send you the download link. This is done transactionally to fulfil your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). A newsletter subscription only happens if you separately consent to it.

7. Web app (app.webermap.de)

The actual application runs separately at app.webermap.de on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). Account, billing and usage are governed by the notices there; payment processing for Pro is handled by Stripe.

8. Recipients / processors

We use the following service providers as processors:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting & delivery of the website (USA, SCC)
  • Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting of the web app (Germany)
  • Lettermint — sending transactional emails & the newsletter
  • Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions

9. Retention periods

  • Unconfirmed newsletter subscriptions are deleted after 30 days.
  • Unsubscribed newsletter contacts are deleted after 90 days.
  • Lead-magnet download tokens expire after 7 days.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact datenschutz@webermarketing.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
