AI features guide

The AI in webermap removes the blank-canvas problem and helps you think further. You stay in control the whole time: every suggestion lands as a normal node in your map and is fully editable.

Generate a mindmap from a keyword

1. Create a new mindmap and name the root node, for example Content strategy 2026.
2. Open the AI menu (the spark icon, top right) and choose Generate mindmap.
3. Describe your goal in one line, such as “topic clusters for our B2B blog”.
4. webermap produces a first structure with main nodes and sub-nodes.

The generated structure is a starting point, not a finished result. Delete what does not fit and add your own nodes with Tab and Enter.

Expand a node with AI

Select a node and choose Expand. The AI suggests relevant sub-points, which is ideal when a branch feels too thin:

• Select Channels, for example, and have specific channels suggested.
• Accept individual suggestions or discard the whole block.

Group ideas automatically

If you have collected many loose nodes, the AI can cluster them by theme and arrange them into a sensible hierarchy. That saves manual sorting after a brainstorm.

Summarize text

Paste longer notes into a node and use Summarize to get the key point as a compact child node.

Good to know

• All AI features work inside your workspace. Data is processed in the EU.
• AI generation is available on a limited basis on the Free plan; Pro at €9/month raises the limits.
• Treat suggestions as a draft: review, trim, sharpen. The best mindmap comes from AI speed plus your own judgment.
